Best time of the year

Giving Examples:

 December is an important month for all my family. It marks the end and the beginning of many things. The school year finishes which has an impact on more family reunions, because all of us are in vacations, my siblings work in schools, my little brother and I are still studying, so it is in December where everything ends and the peace and relaxation start. Also it gives the start to a new year. It is important because we are able to see each other and spend the holidays together, so we can remember stories of our childhood.

Using Sensory Details:

The sun begins to burn the kin and the days become brighter; this is how my favorite month begins. December brings to my mind beautiful memories, sunny days, less work and more fun. This month also has a magic night, the sweet scent of hot chocolate and the twinkling lights of our tree.  The sounds of cars that remain throughout the month, making caravan, so Santa can visit all the children is their homes. These are beautiful examples of why December is the best month.

Telling an Incident:

 If there is a special place for this month, it is Iquique. This is where Christmas is lived as in any other place when December start, in every corner of my city are the “pascueros”, “Santa Claus, “Papá Noel” or whatever you call it. For a strange and unexpected reason, every time that I heard a Christmas car, I went out running and screaming “caco, caco”, until today nobody knows why I said that, but every year when December 24^th arrives all my family remember that for me is not Santa, is “The Caco…”

 This work was very funny to write, because I use my favorite month and a very cute celebration. I only had a few grammar mistakes and one mistake of punctuation. I had very good grades, it was the final work and here I realize that I learnt a lot in this subject. I love writing in Spanish and I realize that I like to write in English too, but my main problem was the punctuation and after I read and learnt about it I improve my writing and this is show in my grades that it has been raising along the term.
